This is actually a reality for hundred of thousands of North Korean. There are around 30 concentration camps in the  totalitarian regime, where the camps have been a staple since 1948. Three generations of a family can be imprisoned for one member's crime.  

Pregnancy is prohibited within the camp and if a woman is found pregnant, the wards will cut open the woman, throw the foetus away and execute her.

This is a dead bodies storage. Because rats eat eyeballs first, most corpses don’t have eyes. 

Security guards consider prisoners less than bugs. Many prisoners  are beaten and executed for stress relief 

Prisoners have to survive starvation conditions by catching rats and frogs, living in bare concrete blocks, and working day-long.
